NAUDET, specialists in barometers and measuring instruments since 1860

NAUDET was born in 1860, just six years after the invention of the aneroid capsule by a French physicist named Lucien Vidie. Within a few years, NAUDET became THE reference in the manufacture of mechanical barometers.

Over 150 years' experience has given NAUDET unrivalled expertise in the design of quality measuring devices. As the only French manufacturer still in business, NAUDET continues to meet the same high standards of excellence. Our workshop is located in Neuilly-Plaisance, near Paris.

Best known for its needle barometers and recording barometers, our company has since developed a wide range of high-performance, reliable, beautiful and timeless products; instruments to be passed on.
Our top team!

THIERRY is our workshop manager. He studied industrial design. He supervises everything that comes in and out of NAUDET: from raw brass boards to the day's production. He arrived at NAUDET at the age of 16, and today he's our all-round specialist. He loves the old appliances that customers send us for repair. When we moved a few years ago, it was he who reorganized the whole workspace: he knows every machine inside out.

Thierry is still a long way from retirement, but he's already thinking about passing on his know-how: in addition to his day-to-day work, he helps to draw up manufacturing data sheets, assembly and adjustment instructions.

Thierry is also the reference when it comes to calibrating scientific-grade instruments: his patience and meticulousness make him the pillar of NAUDET's expertise in precision mechanical devices.

MORGANE joined NAUDET in 2014 after an internship. She studied watchmaking and is now workshop manager. She assembles and adjusts most of the new devices we manufacture. Manufacturing, repair estimates, refurbishments, nothing stands in her way.

Morgane also prepares orders: she carefully packs and dispatches orders all over the world. But Morgane's favorite part of the job is constantly coming up with solutions to improve life in the workshop: plugs, storage, safety equipment? Everything has to be in its place!

Last but not least, Morgane is responsible for our communication on social networks: she's the one who takes the pretty photos/videos of life in the workshop.

CHARLES joined NAUDET in 2014. He oversees all commercial aspects of the company's activity: customer relations, E-commerce, day-to-day business... He's in the offices making sure the business is running and that the workshop lacks for nothing.

Charles is a business school graduate: he spends his time in front of Excel files, calculating cost prices and negotiating with suppliers with his phone screwed to his ear.

These are Gwenael's hands. He trained as a lathe-mill operator. He joined the workshop in 2005, and hides behind his machines all day long.

He makes all NAUDET instrument housings. Mechanical or hydraulic presses, lathes, milling machines... no machine stands up to him, he can do it all.

His specialties? He's the grand wizard of hair hygrometers, and an outstanding painter and varnisher.
